Unfortunately back in April 2019, 16 natural therapies were excluded from private health rebates throughout Australia as the result of a poorly conducted government review process. My chosen professional association the NHAA is actively campaigning to see this reinstated, which you can read more about here. In the meantime, I offer bundled consultation packages as an option that provides you with better value.

Your first consultation with a Naturopath is a really comprehensive look at your present state of health, in conjunction with your personal and family health history. We are addressing your case in a holistic manner, which involves looking at factors such as diet, exercise, sleep, stress and the role all of these play in your overall wellbeing.
We also discuss any recent test results, review current supplements, check for interactions with any medications and chat through treatment options, relevant referrals and/or testing recommendations going forward - so we allow sufficient time to cover all bases and ensure a thorough assessment.
-
In most cases we put a treatment plan in place for 3 months, with fortnightly or monthly reviews - depending on your needs. This is a reasonable amount of time to complete and review relevant testing and take appropriate action based on findings. Chronic and ongoing conditions may require varying levels of long-term care. Our aim is always to provide solid treatment plans, education and resources to set you up for long-term success.

No, I do not use Homeopathy in my practice. I opted for elective subjects related to musculoskeletal anatomy/physiology and foundations of myotherapy instead of Homeopathic subjects during my training. This was due to my special interest in pain disorders and gives me a deeper understanding of musculoskeletal conditions and other beneficial physical treatments you may need to be referred for.

I prescribe TGA approved products based on the quality and efficacy of ingredients indicated for your case, whilst making every effort to avoid unnecessary fillers and excipients. These are most often from high-grade, specialised practitioner-only brands including BioMedica, MediHerb, Orthoplex and more. I have extensive experience working with retail brands due to my time managing a supplement store, so will often recommend over the counter products that I know and love too. It all comes down to choosing the best product for your unique circumstances and budget.
As a practitioner I also have exclusive access to compounding nutraceuticals and liquid herbal medicines, which allows me to custom-blend a powdered supplement or herbal tincture tailored to your specific needs.

Practitioner-only products are specific ranges of nutritional and/or herbal products from certain brands, which require prescription via a qualified Naturopath or Nutritionist. They are high-quality, bioavailable, low excipient formulas and are often complex blends of herbs and/or nutrients, higher strength or restricted products that must be prescribed appropriately.
Practitioner-only brands include BioMedica, BioCeuticals, BioGaia, BioPractica, MediHerb, RN Labs, Designs for Health, Orthoplex, Optimal Rx, Activated Probiotics and more.
These brands verify practitioner qualifications and training prior to providing access, which means you can rest assured that you are receiving a quality product under appropriate professional guidance.
